OK, I love living in this area, because when the weather gets warm there's always something to do,....but .... this ....is ridiculous! I mean it's like there's something new almost every single weekend!?!

April 16-19: The 62nd Annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT). Each year the basketball world focuses on Portsmouth as 64 of the nation’s best college seniors participate in a four-day, twelve-game tournament. Scouts from every National Basketball Association team are on-site to evaluate the talent on the court. Past players include NBA greats such as Rick Barry, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, John Stockton and Scottie Pippen.

April 19: Hampton International Children's Festival. Mill Point Park, and Downtown Hampton. Travel around the world during the International Children's Festival. April 19: Chesapeake Eggstravaganza. Chesapeake City Park. Children 8 and under can join us for fun and egg-citement. Children should bring a basket for the egg hunt. Children may join Peter Cottontail for a picture. Parents, don't forget your camera!
