The Drepung Loseling Monastery monks return to The American Theatre for a week of reflection and inspiration. The monks will create a sand-painted mandala. Millions of grains of sand will be laid into place on a flat platform. The mandala will be deconstructed during the closing ceremony, half the sand will be distributed to the audience, while the remainder is carried to a nearby body of water.
