Sun, Sep 28 - Under the Streetlamp with special guest Gentleman’s Rule, Ferguson Center for the Arts, 8:00 pm, Christopher Newport University, 1 Avenue of the Arts, Newport News. Fresh off filming their highly anticipated second PBS special, Under the Streetlamp, America’s hottest new vocal group, performs an electrifying evening of classic hits from the American radio songbook. Exuding the irresistible rapport of a modern day Rat Pack, the quartet - recent leading cast members of the Tony Award-winning musical “Jersey Boys” - delivers an evening of unforgettable entertainment. You’ll hear doo-wop, Motown, old time rock ‘n’ roll and all of your favorite songs from The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Frankie Valli, Etta James, B.B. King and many others. Opening the evening is Gentleman’s Rule, an a cappella group whose youthful contemporary style, combined with timeless harmonies, energizes concert goers with classic ’70s, ’80s, country, Top 40 and even classical music pieces.
